About our Founder, President & Chief Executive Officer
Jason Langsner founded Capitol Hilltop in 2017 to apply his expertise in digital strategy, marketing, communications, public relations, and technology management to the non-profit, association, and private sector community.
Langsner formerly drove the innovation, marketing, and communications strategy for America's most historic business political action committee, its oldest Jewish humanitarian and human rights organization, and its first technology trade association. In these roles - he served as the vice president of enterprise services for the Business-Industry Political Action Committee (BIPAC), the digital media strategist for B'nai B'rith International, and the vice president of marketing for TechAmerica (formerly the American Electronics Association) respectively.
As an expert in new and social medias, Mr. Langsner has been published and has presented at conferences about how institutions can effectively leverage online tools to foster their respective missions. Topics that he has presented upon include eGovernment, online advocacy, ICT for development, and virtual worlds. He has additionally consulted for the Ritz Carlton Hotel Company, AARP, The Organization of American States, The Task Force on American Innovation, The RFID Tech Council, and many other private and public sector organizations.
Mr. Langsner is a graduate from Georgetown University’s Masters of Communication, Culture & Technology program where he explored how individuals and institutions use media and technology to communicate from social, economic, political, and cultural perspectives. While pursuing this degree, he additionally participated in an International Business Management program at Oxford University in England and an intensive European Union practicum in Brussels.
Jason Langsner graduated with honors from La Salle University with a degree in Digital Arts and Multimedia Design, with an Information Technology concentration, and an English minor. He also studied Information Technology & Telecommunications Policy at The American University’s Washington Semester Program.
Mr. Langsner was a 2009-2010 Israel Diplomacy Fellow — a six month program sponsored by the Embassy of Israel in Washington, DC. He is the volunteer New Leadership Chairman for the Development Corporation of Israel, which is also known as Israel Bonds; and he also serves there as National Vice-Chairman for the New Leadership Council. He is a former volunteer Executive Vice President of Marketing & Communications for the Georgetown University’s Alumni Club of Washington, DC, and as the Communications Chair for The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington's The Network program. His original artwork has been presented and sold at galleries in New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC.
As a passionate advocate for the Jewish Democratic State of Israel, Mr. Langsner has written articles and spoken at a number of conferences.
